2. Which aspects of your academic training were relevant to your profession?
The knowledge and skills I acquired throughout my academic degree have allowed me to solve challenges in an effective and efficient way on a daily basis. As my role is mainly on a commercial level, analytical thinking helps me to mentally analyse, in fractions of seconds, all the viable solutions for each and every client and ultimately present the most suitable one.
3. Who would you recommend your course to?
I would recommend the Masters in Mathematics to all those who wish to complement their undergraduate degree either for professional or personal satisfaction. The array of subjects and areas available allows for people to adapt the theme of their dissertation to their personal taste.
4. Why the University of Madeira?
I chose to do my undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the University of Madeira mainly for personal reasons. Right from the start I realized that I had made the right choice due to the quality of the whole academic body and curriculum made available. In second place, due to the fact that the teachers, staff and colleagues all formed a cohesive group and lastly as it did not imply travelling long distances. Therefore when I chose to further my studies, whilst simultaneously working, this University was the most obvious choice.
