HPTC in Information Systems Technology And Programming
The senior technician in Information System Technologies and Programming will be able to autonomously or as part of a team, plan, implement and carryout the maintenance of applicational software for the web context, whether distributed or mobile. The senior technician will also be able to to concebe and optimize Information Systems in diversified contexts, with the ability of adapting to emerging technologies.
The course is structured in four (4) academic semestres, comprised of sixteen (16) curricular units. Of these, three (3) are of general and scientific training which correspond to 18 ECTS credits, twelve (12) of technical training which correspond to seventy-two (72) ECTS credits, and one (1) work-related training component which correspondes to thirty ECTS credits

Career Opportunities and Employability
The Senior Technician in Information System Technologies and Programming Course prepares senior technicians, level 5, by fostering skills related to planning, implementation and maintenance of Information Systems. It will also allow technicians to carryout duties related to the development of client and server applications on web environment.
Holders of a professional senior technician diploma may apply for an undergraduate degree at polytechnic and university institutions within the framework of the so-called special contest for holders of such diplomas.
Candidates
Students of the professional secondary courses, especially those in fields ou subjects related to informatics and/or computer networks. As well as, professionals in the field of informatics who intend to start a career in computer programming and web systems.
