1 - Develop the knowledge and ability to perform independent work in Regional and Local Studies for an internship report.
2 - Get an in-depth knowledge on the specific topic of the internship report.
3 - Be able to present and discuss clearly the conclusions of the research as well as the underlying theory.
4 - Be able to identify new problems and solve them in a critical, independent and innovative way.

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)
Evaluation Methodology:
The teaching methodologies will be defined by the advisor, but, in general terms, they include: 1) periodic meetings with the advisor; 2) prepare the defined internship report with, inclusively, bibliographic research; 3) use of specific software for the specific area under study. Regarding the evaluation, it is processed through public tests, as defined in Regulation of the University of Madeira.
