Overall objectives:

The objectives of this curricular unit are aimed at equipping students with a set of essential competences for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of team sports games in a school context. Thus, students should be able to:

1. Apply didactic knowledge in the teaching of different team sports games (TSG) within the subject of Physical Education and in other educational contexts.

2. Critically analyse their own pedagogical practice, based on variables related to teaching effectiveness, demonstrating the ability to conduct well-founded self-assessment and integrating evidence derived from scientific research, within an evidence-based practice perspective.

3. Plan and structure a didactic unit of TSG, integrating objectives, contents, methods, and assessment strategies in a way that is consistent with the defended conceptual teaching framework.

4. Carry out practical pedagogical interventions in TSG, demonstrating professional competences and the ability to adapt to different teaching-learning contexts.

Application Test: n2 (25%) ? At the end of each module, the lecturer presents students with a problem that must be solved in written form and submitted. Each component is worth 4 marks [i.e., Handball (4 marks); Basketball (4 marks); Volleyball (4 marks); Football (4 marks); and Invasion Team Sports (4 marks)].

• n4 (25%) ? Design of a Didactic Unit on Invasion Team Sports in groups of 3 students, with a presentation of the developed work (15 minutes) ? Submission date of the document: 16.12.2025; Presentation date: 19.12.2025
