Syllabus:

We will promote cooperative learning and individual guidance of master's learning, active involvement in their autonomous learning process; conditions for master students to reflect on their contextualized learning in IS, in a critical analysis approach of their methodological options, learning assumptions and self-assessment. The seminars will be of discussion and debate with presentation of theoretical and practical contents resulting from the work of master's students and interventions of personalities invited to share knowledge and experiences.

Teaching and learning methodologies will prioritize the development of analytical and critical reflection skills associated with the selection of innovative pedagogical practices that contribute to the recognition of the specificity and value of learning contexts in Early Childhood Education, working with families, and the coherence, interpretation, and construction of a personal and comprehensive vision inherent to pedagogical practice. Thus, the aforementioned learning objectives will be achieved through reading texts, observation, followed by oral presentation and discussion in the classroom, as well as theoretical presentations by the teacher, supported by PowerPoint presentations created specifically for this purpose, and in-class debate/discussion of the content covered. The general objectives are transversal to all classes, with particular emphasis on the oral presentations of the students' study work on the syllabus of this curricular unit, under the guidance of the teacher. The aim of this methodology is to gradually enable students to internalize and disseminate attitudes of reflection and critical analysis, as well as holistic intervention adapted to the contexts of Early Childhood Education. To develop skills within the scope of action research, the work performed in this curricular unit for assessment emerges predominantly from the problematic issues raised during the Pedagogical Practice course. The academic poster exhibition at the end of the semester is a moment of sharing with the academic community, a way to highlight the processes experienced by future teachers and educators.
