Biographical Notes

Master dissertation "The plastic arts in Madeira (1910-1990): conjunctures, facts and protagonists of the regional art scene in the twentieth century" (1999). PhD thesis "Towards a theory of the cinematic image" (2007). I publish articles in the areas of art history, aesthetics and theories of image / and cinema. I write critical texts for exhibition catalogs, works as a curator/commissioner and I also practice art in the fields of video art, installation and performance. I teach aesthetics, art history and art criticism. Concluding post-doctoral studies (aesthetic education)
