Overall objectives:

0 - The curricular unit aims to provide conceptual instruments that allow:
1 - Understand the difference between the concepts addressed, leisure, recreation, well-being and quality of life.
2 - Understand the purpose of promoting wellness and healthy aging.
3 - Develop essential skills that allow the exercise of functions in different organizations in terms of leisure, recreation, culture and tourism.
4 - Understanding tourism productivity, in a logic of complementarity with other products, in a context of developing healthy aging strategies.
5 - Organize and manage initiatives in different territorial and organizational contexts, taking into account the profile of demand, similar supply and resources.
6 - Monitor and evaluate initiatives aligned with the organizational strategy.

Assesssment methods and criteria:

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)

Evaluation Methodology:
The aim is to acquire and apply the knowledge foreseen in the objectives and syllabus contents. Assessment Methodology: Classification Type: Quantitative (0-20) Assessment according to Model B of the UMa Student Learning Assessment Regulation, namely in normal season. The approval of the curricular unit implies approval in all components (minimum 9.5). There is possibility of recovery in resource/improvement season for all components. The final classification is expressed on a scale of 0 to 20 values and is the teacher's responsibility.
